Welcome to five La Hi, where we speak about any topic in death, and you'll learn all you need to know in bite sized episodes. Hi, I'm Rohan, and in five minutes you'll learn everything there is to know about Atlantis. More than 2000 years ago, a guy named Plato claimed that an advanced civilization sung to the bottom of the ocean for 9,000 years before his time. This civilization here believed had existed, was situated between Europe and North America. The citizens of Atlantis were rumored to have existed on the island that connected Europe and America approximately between 12,000 years and 7,500 years ago. Lantis was a sophisticated civilization and had made great progress in many fields. Including science and technology, as well as its culture and education. Unfortunately, I cannot give examples. Since Play-Doh did not mention Annie Atlantis would've been considered the first utopian concept created before Sero Thomas Moores Utopia. Like seriously, uh, technologically advanced Unflawed civilization That he thought of thousands of years before his time. Despite countless efforts to find this lost civilization, there has been no historical or archeological evidence to support the reality of such a highly evolved civilization as he depicts. Many academ believe that Plato's portrayal of Atlantis is fiction or an allegory. Some theories hold that Playdoh utilized the story of Atlantis as an allegory to illustrate his p philosophical ideas on ideal societies as well as human nature and the nature of civilization. But through our history, a a lot of individuals. Have drawn inspiration from Plato's, just depict of Lantis, and the concept of Lantis is still a popular one from myth fiction and rumor, maybe not so much for rumor, it was later revealed that the civilization similar to p Plato's Alliances had existed in a Mediterranean island known as Cree, and is thought to exist 900 years ago. Rather than 9,000 years ago, before his time, the people who formally inhabited the land were the minnows. The concept of the lanis may have likely came from Egypt, which was already a technologically advanced civilization, although that is just speculation. Now let's elaborate on the discovery of the Bronze Age Manoan civilization. S were not really like players, Atlanta's theory, but they did have good plumbing and buildings, which were highly resistant to earthquakes. They made scale complexes, and the manoan civilizations were pretty much just scr of complex architecture, which inspired many different myths and stories such as the lab. There is only one answer to the existence of Atlantis. There is no proof of Plato's concept to be real. Even if it was he was being completely misunderstood to another ancient civilization and existed on a Greek island, on a continental landmark between Europe and America. Well, there seems to be a sunken land under the ocean. It looks a lot like the continent where Atlantis is situated on. No, no, no. I'm joking. Atlantis is a lie. There's no longer some myth or anything here at your campfire. Atlantis was just some fictional civilization. I was originally being made up by Play-Doh and has been utilized in many different works of fiction, but however we can learn a lesson. Plato's Alliances concept was created in order to justify and promote social status. So civilization would create a utopia for reasons that it wanted to promote its social order and thus create social stability. Maybe you have repeated the word social too much, but you get it right. Plato created an artist to teach philosophy and to help us humans to focus on innovation. And the future of society. So that's five of the hive, and I hope you enjoyed the buzz with us next time.
